GOAL

Produce a one-of a kind celebrity-studded event for Mobsteel, who starts with Detroit's finest vintage luxury cars and turns them into modern day menacing street machines with the technology and features only available today.

RESULT

A glitzy, high-energy cocktail party at Greektown Casino's Eclipz Lounge on March 6th, 2009, which drew a capacity crowd filled with the who's who of the automotive world as well as NBA players and Detroit scenesters.

TACTICS

On the Rocks Detroit created and managed all aspects of this event, including securing of venue, invite creation, publicity, entertainment and on-site management. The event featured live music and a DJ, swag giveaways, a VIP area with appetizers and gift bags, and more. Attendees included celebrity automotive designer and star of Overhaulin' Chip Foose, Hub Garage cast members, executives from Pirelli Tires, NBA star Scot Pollard (Boston Celtics), and approximately 200 other guests from Detroit, LA, and NY.
