GOAL

Create a unique, buzz-worthy and well-attended CD release show for Atlantic Recording Artist & Kid Rock protege Ty Stone.

RESULT

A sell-out crowd of almost 800 attended "Shiprocked", a moonlight rock and roll cruise on the Detroit Princess Riverboat, celebrating Kid Rock protégé Ty Stones EP release on Atlantic Records on Saturday May 16th. This event on the Detroit River featured live performances by Ty Stone and his all-star band The Truth (featuring members of Uncle Kracker's band bassist Matt Van and drummer Steve Stetson), along with acclaimed rockers Robin Horlock, Brandon Calhoon (of CBS’ Rockstar INXS) and Frankie D'Angelo.

TACTICS

OTRD secured significant pre-press for this event, including a live performance by Ty Stone on Fox 2 News. All aspects of the event were created and managed by OTRD, including venue negotiations, talent booking, creative, PR, and on-site event management.
